This artwork is a part of a project to create set of artwork which will be based on CD cover design. The band names and CD titles that are used for this project are totally fictitious, and will bare relation to any existing band or CD title, past or present. If for any reason if a band name or album title dose exists with the same name it is purely coincidental and has no relevance or connection with the band or the album title concerned.

I have always liked text and images intermingled with one anther, even if you don’t understand the language the text is in. I think this stems form the album sleeves and comic book covers of my youth (showing my age now:) ), for example I used to frequently come across the foreign imported albums in my local record store, with brilliant artwork and I couldn’t understand a word the text was saying, especially the Japanese ones, but in a lot of cases the text was part of the overall effect of the artwork. This is what influenced me in creating these.

The text is intended to be an important visual component more so than for the literary value, The content of the text is intended as a bonus, or clue to the sometimes the defused content of the compositions subject matter.
